Tammy is the host of Heart & Hands of a Maker podcast, mentor to her Mixed Media Makers group. She teaches, demonstrates, and speaks about jewelry making nationally and internationally. Tammy contributes jewelry-making projects, articles, and designs to magazines, books, and television programs. She is featured in videos on various industry-related websites, a published author, former editor at Lapidary Journal and Beadwork magazines, as well as Beading Daily and Jewelry Making Daily online communities.

Tammy’s career has afforded her so many wonderful opportunities she never takes for granted as they have shaped her maker journey and allowed her to explore so many different mediums. Her passion is to serve the communities she loves in all the ways she knows how. This special retreat experience is about bringing people together, sharing knowledge, empowering others to create beautiful things, all while enjoying the camaraderie and good food in a beautiful setting.

Looking ahead – Tammy has a new metal clay book coming out Fall 2025, Schiffer Publishing and is working on her next one.
